To View SMTP Message Headers
MS Outlook 2000: Select the message, then right click for a menu, and select options. The SMTP headers will be viewable in a box labeled "Internet Headers".
For Eudora: double click on the message to open it in its own window, and then click on "show all headers" button at the top of the window.
MS Outlook Express: Select the message, then right click for a menu, and select properties, and select the details tab. The SMTP headers will be viewable in a box labeled "Internet Headers for this Message".

The text below includes a sample taken from a spam message filtered with SpamAssassin. The X-Spam-Level header in bold below can be used to filter the message. There is plenty of additional interesting information about how SpamAssassin rated the message in the other X-Spam headers. Only the X-Spam headers are added by SpamAssassin.
